Doctor Who (2005) Season 6, Episode 8 - Let's Kill Hitler (2). Air at Saturday August 27,2011 7:00 PM on BBC ONE (UK). Travelling through time and space in his TARDIS, the Doctor battles aliens and monsters who are intent on mayhem and destruction. He is joined on his adventures by a number of companions.
Previous Story: A solar storm sweeps the TARDIS to a factory on an island on 22nd century Earth. There the Doctor discovers that the local workforce uses a substance called Flesh to make doppelgangers of themselves, Gangers, as remote-control labor tools. However, when a second storm imbues the Gangers with life, the Doctor must try and resolve the differences between the two groups before they wipe each other out.
While the Doctor and his new companion get to know each other, the Gangers plot revolution against the humans who ruthlessly use them and discard them. Rory attempts to befriend them but discovers that not everything as it seems, with the Gangers or with his wife.
When the Doctor realizes that Amy has been abducted, he assembles an army of individuals from across time and space to help him and Rory recover her from an asteroid base, Demon's Run. However, River insists that she can't go with them, because Demon's Run will be the day that the Doctor reaches his highest point, and then falls to his lowest low and learns who River really is.
Now Episode: The search for the infant River Song takes the Doctor to the days of WWII, where he confronts the most dangerous war criminal in the universe and Adolf Hitler
